Been thinking of getting a kona smoke, mainly for on road/gravel use, but with a bit of off road with some 29r tyres. Anyone fitted fatter off road rubber to one of these? How big can you go? And was it any use off road? I'm thinking of it being a (very, very) poor man's salsa fargo, might even fit some midge bars.
How heavy is one of these beasts? A lot of posts complain about their bulk. The drivetrain is obviously quite weak, but there's some bits in the shed/on CRC that could fix that!
