Going to sleep on it, but I want the Singular Kite. Thing is I want it for racing so I should, for the same'ish money be buying a 1kg lighter Specialized Crux.

I'm justifying it by telling myself I'm not that good anymore, so get something you like.
Thing is next year when I'm picking my lungs out of my nose will I regret it?

Or, get the singular, then drill loads of holes in it, like Alf Tupper, the tough of the track. You'd need plenty of fish and chips tho.

Alf Tupper. He'd enter sporting events for things he'd never done before, have beat-up old kit, suffer some disaster, and still win.

Yeah right. I knew it was bullshit even then. Stupid character.

It has indeed, still got plenty of life left in it, but I've tried a larger frame and it seemed better...so of course I have to buy one.

Oh yes the trophy I won, well I don't really like to talk about it ๐Ÿ™‚

On a serious note, the last three seasons it's been bone jarring dry. I would have (and nearly did) given my high teeth for a steel frame.

Trying to see if I can claw back the 1Kg with the newer components.

Just saved 200g on the seatpost alone, and 300+/- on the new wheels. New bars and stem, and CX70 chainset might give me another 200g.

Just work out what percentage of the combined weight of you, your bike, bottles and kit 2.2lbs is. Not much.

Of (much) more importance to me is fit and function. Plus you want it!

And of course you'd be dealing with someone who seems to come highly recommended.

๐Ÿ˜€ 69er (probably an equally old git)

I bought my swift on the basis it may be heavier, but I really want it, therefore ride more, therefore it's (and I'm) faster!
