Found today my kmc connector has snapped on one side so need to purchase a new one.
Checked CRC and they appear to be £7.49 which is a huge price I pay for a chain link. Was expecting £1.99.
Am I looking at the right thing?

Why do they have a different one for Shimano and Campag?
And could a SRAM split link be used instead of the official kmc one?
You get two for that price. There are different ones for Shimano and Campag chains as they are different widths. Sram powerlock link will work with a KMC chain.
I just purchased a pack of two KMC ones from Wiggle for £4.99 I think.

Are you talking 10 speed? If so, is there a decathlon near you, their own brand links are made by kmc (so it would seem at least) state way cheaper
If you're on 8 or 9 speed - use SRAM.
