Looking at one of these with a view to racing cross ( I know ....)next year & also a bike for riding with the kids / trailer towing duties .
Wonder if anyone could help with sizing query . Im 5ft 11 with 33 inside leg.

I am the same height as you, and have just replaced a Croix de Fer 56cm frame with a Pro6 57cm. BB centre to top of seat tube is slightly longer on the Pro6, but everything else is pretty much in the same place as the Croix.
The 54cm might be a bit small, unless you really want an upright position.

5'10 with ~31 inside leg here, my 57 feels pretty much perfect for me with a 110 stem, so a 54 would be too small for you I reckon. I have to say I've only used it for road stuff so far though, if that makes any difference.

i'm roughly the same dimensions as you and i'd plump for the 57

the 54 would be too short for me, but that's just me, you may prefer different

5'11 here, 33" inside leg and also on a 57cm. Not a huge amount of seatpost showing, but I think that's down to the fairly horizontal top tube geometry. Other cross bikes I've owned had a more dropped tube to aid standover.

5'10", 31" leg, I found the 57 to be rideable but not comfortably so. Certainly wouldn't have wanted to take it off road. I have a 54 and it's a much better fit for me, but I'd go with the consensus that you'd probably find it a bit short.

If it helps in the past I've found I fit medium cotics and large on ones

I'm pretty much exactly the same size as you OP. I ride a 57cm Pro6 and definitely wouldn't want anything smaller.
