Anyone got a recommendation? Little fella is 9 - loves biking, has a cheapo set of plastic BMX pads, which are pretty worn out now.

Would like to get him something more comfy - but he's growing like crazy, so don't want to spend the earth .

honourable George , I think ive got some 661 knee and elbow pads that will fit a 9 yr old , they are like new , boy had them for about 4 weeks before he decided to take a massive growth spurt , you can have them for a small donation to west mids air ambulance or buxton mountain rescue , (both were a great deal of help when I had a really bad fall whilst climbing ) let me know and ill try and dig them out if the wife hasn't got rid of, back on shift tomorrow till Friday so wont be able to post until early next week

If the OP doesn't want either set being offered then I know a couple of little Listers who would love to donate to the air ambulance or send their pocket money to mattoutandabout!
Please let me know...sorry to hijack!

For everyone but the lucky donator to the air ambulance ..
Jnr's Fox Youth are fantastic... they have been very extensively tested on hard and pointy rocks many many times and aren't too un-comfy.
He's a biggish 7/8 and still using S/M and will be for a while... I'd definitely buy again.
