Looking for some knee pads for my daughter shed 7. Ideally ones with shin protection as I about to upgrade her pedals to metal with some small pins. The current plastic ones are a bit small and don't grip. She is tall but pretty skinny so i am worried that fit will be difficult. Local shops don't stock kids pads surprisingly!

So any ideas appreciated. Elbow pads as well!

I found some 661 adult small elbow/forearm pads that worked really well for my son about that age. Mesh neoprene type sleeve then hard plastic for the knee and shin.

Will take a look. Any other options out there?

+1 for adult elbow pads. I've lent mine to a few kids and they fit and work OK. More choice and they can use them as elbow pads in later life. For actual elbow pads maybe some skate ones. More kids options there and usually cheaper than bike stuff.

Comrie croft had an amazing selection. No idea why, but they did

Do they fit well and can they pedal ok? My elbow pads are shaped and have a curve that I don't think would work. So which brands should I look at?

Yep, mine have used small adult elbow pads. I think I have some 661’s.
