Do enduro races for youngish kids exist? The wean is showing a reasnable turn of speed on the downhills at CyB etc and I think he'd really enjoy that format.
But I can't find anything that caters for 10 year olds an below.
Any suggestions?

PMBA have a category for U16 but not sure how young. I think they need to be accompanied around by an adult. Give them a shout on the Facebook page to see.
