Me and a mate are heading up to Keswick in the morning and are looking for any good/cheap twin room b&bs or are we better off staying in the YHA

Can recommend the Babbling Brook Guesthouse. Don't think anywhere in Keswick is cheap, but it's really nice and they're v. friendly. If it's for Sat night they're probably full mind . . ..

💡 try Cat Bells camping barn if you fancy camping inside

Does Babbling Brook have decent parking? i.e. estate car friendly!

Lots of keswick b+b's won't have parking, including the one mentioned I think. MTB-run Harvington House always gets a mention, or across the road from me is Fernene, very nice folks and secure garage

Try Denton House Independent Hostel it's a lot cheaper than YHA (£15 p/p/n at Weekends), has parking, kitchen, bike storage and handy for town centre,

From a previous post
Graham & Gena @ Havington House (017687) 75582

Mark & helen @ Greysoke G.House (017687) 72603

Phil & Gill @ grassmoor G.House (017687) 74008.

They are all within a block or 2 of each other, not far from Keswick town center and are involved with the Tuesday night MTB possy.....

Hope this helps!
