Unlucky in the extreme he seems to get on the verge for a softer landing then comes of on a junction .

I don't know any roadies who would get onto TT bars in a chaingang.

They looked more like triathletes to me.

They do look like Triathletes, yes, the tri-bars and the bottles mounted behind the saddle would indicate this...but that said, you can't knock the guys bike handling. I don't know many cyclists of any persuasion who could 'ride out' a 'wheel rub' for as long as that guy did!

well your spokes didn't break randomly, the guy in front of you put his fork into them... it wasn't going to end well!
