Hmmm, the older frames had a built in collar (which I much preferred) and wore non metallic paint.
Later batch had a separate seat collar came in a darker, metallic red, like the one above.
FWIW, the earlier one seemed much tidier than it's replacement - welding, allignment etc.
hope its the brighter red!
I think mine was just a dodgy one off - seat post slips and slightly missalligned rear triangle.
Don't know anyone else who's ever had a problem so you should be fine!
The picture on the website seems to show one of the older ones.
