Seemed like a no brainer, £60 for a sub-1kg helmet that fits better than 5 or 6 others I've tried and was also the cheapest by far.
I needed it for a long Europe road trip this year, then it will probably be back in the shed for a while.
What would I have got from a more expensive model, other than less change? Lighter - not likely, removable inner pads - would be useful, better chin strap - no big deal, more protection - they all pass safety standards and I'm not racing.
I'm always suspicious of a cheap deal, but decided to go for this one. I had been considering a Down-o-matic, now I've got £80 change to spend on croissants and fondues.
