Pfft - 32-18 on a Jones? No way, you'll be wanting more like 37-21...

I was going to fit 32 X 18 but currently the 18t freewheel is stuck on the Karate Monkey's wheel, so I'm tempted with 17t (as that is the other WI one I have) but was worried that may be a tad high. I should have mentioned it'll have a big wheel / tyre on front.

Nah, a proper Jones geek will only have prime number chainrings and cogs to even out chain wear, so 31/17 ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you need special gears for a Jones? Are they becoming so popular that you need to have a niche gear for them to be niche enough now? ๐Ÿ˜€

Maybe you could get a jones and run gears, normal bars and a non-Brooks saddle on it. Then have a shave - now, THAT would be niche ๐Ÿ™‚

Dunno; that new non-leather (and thus waterproof) Brooks Cambium looks nice...
