Probably a stupid question - can you replace SRAM jockey wheels in a SRAM rear mech with say Shimano jockey wheels or a.n.other manufacturer?
I've cracked a jockey wheel in my ten speed X9 rear mech and need to replace it - in my non-technical opinion the SRAM X9 jockey wheels are weaker due to the design of the wheels having holes in them.
