they're definitely hard as nails.must admit to wanting to try riding round a velodrome (won't be fast though ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice film and interesting it was made by someone who previously knew nothing of the Keirin culture (but who was probably influenced by the urban fixed gear culture of the last few years, and that culture's fixation with Keirin and the NJS).

I was thinking about Keirin the other day, and how peculiarly Japanese it is - very rule driven, with riders having to notify tactics in advance, big money gambled and a national culture not really witnessed elsewhere.
