i'm curious - has anyone else got 'white peak mountain biking' book?
if so on page 75 it claims the descent leading into stony middleton is "jacob's ladder", but all other references to jacob's ladder appear to point to

so is jon barton wrong or was jacob a man of multiple ladders?
