Does anyone have experience of riding Jack Mytton Way ?

Looking at a three day ride for a mixed group, Jack Mytton Way looks like an excellent mix of lanes and off road, and as it's classified as a bridlepath it should be reasonably easy to navigate.

Any pointers on the trail conditions, accomodation, pubs etc would be appreciated.

Would be worth detouring off after climbing up the Long Mynd to take in Minton Batch (other singletrack descents are available), otherwise you're slogging up there for nothing really.

The Jack Mytton route over the Long Mynd goes down past the gliding club, which I seem to remember as being a long steady downhill.

Some of our group are not exactly comfortable with fast descents and I could see a few sense of humour failures at Minton Batch.
