I got one hell of a puncture this morning, big ass screw, through the tyre (and tube obviously) and then straight through the rim inner wall as well, punched a hole right through!
Hopefully the puncture fairy is well and truly satisfied now and back home on her sofa relaxing with a DVD so you should all be safe for the rest of the day....

That reminds of my a race I did in the mists of time where half way through the front wheel started making a strange clicking sound. Wasn't unitl I finished that I checked the tyre to see a big ass nail had gone through the tyre under the innertube (latex) and out the other side of the tyre!
