Hi all,
Doing this in couple weeks, chosen clockwise route around the island following the signed road route.
Where do you pick up the route when you get off the Wightlink ferry at Fishbourne ?

Seem to remember that there is a sign somewhere once you get to the main road from the terminal.
Any locals can advise........
Any other tips ?
Thanks

Turn right out of Fishbourne ferry on to Fishbourne Lane. Follow this for about a mile until you get to a T junction with Kite Hill - turn left on to A3054 / Eleanors Grove and you're on the route going clockwise ๐Ÿ™‚

Enjoy - lovely ride. Keep an eye out for the signs - they can catch you by surprise.

(Edited as I forgot which way a clock goes round)

^ I'm not sure that's right.

I think you have to turn right when you get to the A3054/Kite Hill, proceed for about a quarter mile or so, and watch out for a turning on your left, Firestone Copse Road, just before you come to the bridge at Wootton Creek. The route with the blue/white signs bypasses Ryde by going this way.

I did it a few sundays ago, it's easily signposted, I went anticlockwise and had no problems catching signs, but then I just kept the sea on my right.. Phah

StefMcDef is right. Turn right out of the terminal, right at the traffic lights then next left after 1/2 mile or so (signed for Kite Hill campsite)
