Aiming to ride this area tomorrow. Found a couple of routes from an Old Singletrack mag.
One seems to have a lot of road riding where there are bridleways, which puzzles me.
Anyone got any recommendations or GPS files to share?

Thanks

Did the big one a couple of weeks ago,

Great route with some lovely bits of single track and some fast open bridleways.

Thanks Soma - wondering why the big loop misses out the ridge down to Corfe as this seems more interesting, though a steep climb?

The magazine routes are pretty naff in my opinion. Too much road, goes the 'wrong' way up at points and misses a lot of the good stuff.

DrP's route from a previous group ride is a good one.

Is that the bit where there are 100s of walkers (on a weekend)?

100s of walkers is Old Harry's Rocks back down to Studland. Lots of miserable faces to be seen.

Ha! I had a great ride around the Isle of Purbeck* this time last year and there was a definite point around Old Harry's Rocks where walkers started looking really grumpy.

*A great ride thanks to this website, and Martyn Hoyle now of Rockets and Rascals. http://singletrackworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/a-tuesday-treats-winner-reports-poole-hustling/
