I would love to ride it again but at the moment I am not thinking any further ahead than next week. If I reach the middle of the year and I still have a job then might think about it.

I fancy giving it a go, shouldn't be too expensive on the ferry as a foot passenger and Heysham is only the other side of the bay. Just need to persuade a couple of mates to join me.

I've just coughed up the entry fee so will be there in clareymorris' gang.

JC, think i saw you at hitthenorth on your jones, can't be that many around.

Anyone know what camping is like ? Thinking of staying for 2 or 3 nights and would appreciate some hints/tips as to where to pitch. Pub proximity essential.

Foot passenger is about £30 with £10 fuel surcharge, rolymo camping is about £15 per night...... i got B&B at a small place in Douglas, use it most years, for £25 per night.... en-suite and cooked breakfast in the morning.

Don't forget if your going over as a foot passenger your bike goes free but you will need to spend £15 for the transport to the start and back from the finish.

And yes rolymo that was me at HtN but there were 2 Jones's at the event.
I'll be running it with gears for the End2End.
