Can you reuse the barb?
Yes you can reuse the barb, but the one sold on CRC has a 'thread' so you can screw it in with a small torq tool.
If your carefull and place a drop of brake fluid from the cut-off hose on top of the barb, you might be lucky and get away without bleeding the brake
