[Closed] is there such a thing as a direct mount blanking plate?

I've removed my direct-mount front mech to go 1x10 and need something to blank off the shiny bit. Tarty I know.

I thought about fitting a chain catcher in its place but I don't actually need one (and there don't seem to be any on the market anyway).

Anything that will do the job?

I made one from some black acrylic, shaped it to suit then drilled and countersunk 2 holes.
Job done!
