My 3 year old (like all 3 year olds) is obsessed with dinosaurs and wants dinosaur stickers on his bike. So, I’ve got some dinosaur stickers from a magazine and thinking I can put them on the frame and then invisiframe on top to keep them from peeling off etc. Will this work?

Better to put the stickers on top - otherwise it’s hard to get the Invisiframe to seat properly...

Edit: Actually just realised you’re probably more bothered about the stickers than the frame - in which case crack on! 😀

And, given how fickle 3 year olds can be, easier to remove/change if the stickers are on top.

You'll tend to get a little halo of not stuck invisiframe around the sticker. You can lessen this by warming the invisi with a hair dryer and seating it better with light pressure on the halo.

unless its a high wear area you could just clear coat over the top

What’s clear coat? Like nail varnish or something?

Kayak23 is spot on. Lots of spare stickers and change them regularly could be better. The halo effect is quite noticeable on darker backgrounds eg. fork legs, might be worse on matte than gloss. Also thinners stickers would help. I am 're-stickering' my forks and would preferentially put the frame protection on last for longevity.

Not the end of the world though, either way.

The halo effect with cheap tape will be worse as less sticky / stretchy.

Warm tape / heatgun (applying wet) will help.

And there we have it, the oilslick trend is being replaced by dino themed bike design.
Coming in 2021 - the Santa Cruz Triceratops

I'd buy that.
