we all love Kona right.
Yes, definite love for Kona. Sadly it’s more from a time gone by when I lusted after a 1993 Kilauea that was ever so slightly out of my financial reach rather than anything they rolled out for the last fifteen to twenty years.
The wrong ownership quickly turn an innovative brand into a ‘me-too’ that trades on its history.
I’d be sad if they became a brand that disappeared but I wouldn’t notice it.
Hopefully the new/old owners will bring back some of that old Kona love. A new short travel and aggressive Process, funky hardtails, freeride hikes and the ESD would be great.
