I currently got a 26x2.3 on my fully, but i am wanting and needing more from my nobby nics.
I am thinking maybe to go for a 26x2.5 hoping that might give me the extra i need.
Would a 2.5 fit on a rim with a 2.3 on it? they are alex rims btw if it makes any difference?

Bit more info needed. Which Alex rims? As a guide, Nics 2.25 are happy enough on Mavic XC717s, ie 17mm internal rim spacing. Most would not be happy with 2.5s on 717s and would want at least 719s or 721s or bigger to allow a decent shape and not have them rolling off. Check the model number and there will be a size chart on a website somewhere. Or just measure it.
