I've picked up an intense 5.5evp off the classifieds with a view to possibly replacing my 06 rocky mountain slayer frame. Does anyone know what the maximum recommended fork length is for the 5.5? The slayer has a 36 float that I'd be keen to re-use. Anyone know whether this will chopper out the bike too much?

Just space the fork down to less travel if its too long at 160mm

Recommended Fork Length: 100-130mm but it would probably be fine with a 20mm spacer in your floats.
