Does the restricted format of Instagram not bother anyone else? (scotroutes there too though I don't use it much).
Plenty of apps that will let you post pictures full frame scotroutes.
Or are you just worried about the lack of nipples?

I take most of my pictures that I plan to put on Instagram in a square format. If I take a full frame picture it doesn't always crop well into a square.

It's the opposite for me, if anything it has inspired me to think about composition in a 1:1 ratio. Not saying I've mastered it at all like. It's a bit like the 6 second restriction of vine has spawned a lot of creative videos.
