Chris Boardman seems to think its important!
Are you going to be competing in an Olympic Cross Country race ?
only if it's rocky, you need them superhard for rocks so you don't go over the bars ๐
Eh? Is this some commentary gold I'm missing out on?
Over in Oz we have Phil Lig, wondering who is drafting out there
and don't forget 5 Bar (70psi) in your tyres
Brakes, I was wondering about that although apparently they're now using all of the 100mm of travel available on the leap of faith .
I thought Boardman sounded pretty knowledgable. Bound to say some crap stuff during an hour and a half race.
I did laugh when they talked about tyre pressures. How fascinating!
Yes and put 3.5 - 5 bar in your tyres. (ooops too slow - I was pumping up my tyres more)
He said nothink. He's a muppet.
Yeah because the millions watching know all that.
I remember Rockshox at Sandwell were prepping peoples forks, I recall they came back rigid ๐ฏ
He said nothink.
He's a muppet.
. ๐ฏ
Blimey, Olympic Gold yellow jersey wearing superstar winning ex-pro = muppet.
Anyway, far more important. Was the winner on a 29er?
There are muppets here also. He said nothink, anythink and somethink many times, weren't you listening?
oldgit -

Nope 26, 29er was in second and 26 in third
XX1 winner............

I've pumped my tyres up to 4 bar for pretty much the last twenty years. It's what I prefer, other might not but I wouldn't mock them for making a different choice.
Hard tyre pressure would have been fine on that course and the weather conditions .....IMHO
