Glad they mentioned it was a fat bike in the title, rather than just any old normal bike.

I think what makes it funnier is I can imagine the group I ride with on a Sunday morning ending up in a similar situation and how people would react then.

Just spat coffee over laptop. Brilliant.
Once upon a time I had a shock across my nipples whilst attempting to lift a bike over a fence. It really smarts.

Hardly surprising that some farmers hate cyclists when they care so little about wrecking fences.

I have to admit that Mrs Gti and I got delayed one wet day during our walking honeymoon in the Alps when we were stopped by an electric fence we couldn't pass! It took us a good half hour to find a branch, reach over and turn off the switch on the shocking box that was feeding the fence!

last words on the video:

You'll have to straighten the fence out now.

maybe they did?

Viewing on the mobile site, in the overview the title reads

'If you only watch one video of a wet f...'

Is disappoint.

They should be punished for not doing that.

A short, sharp, shock will teach them.

Thats the fence below Park Wood near Mapledurum on the Thames. You do get a fair old belt from that for some reason..... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Would be even more shocking if it was a e-bike (sorry) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Brilliant. When I watched it, I couldn't help thinking it's just like one of the 'Secret World' sketches which featured Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins and Ross Kemp.

Brilliant! Was surprised to see how the current flowed through a wet stick so easily. I'd have though the grips would have acted as insulators?

Farmers use special electricity that can cope with the wet UK conditions.

Youtube brought up another video on electric fences, which includes a scene of two piggies having some piggy nookie. The sow pushes backwards and the hog's bottom comes up against an electric fence.... oh how we laughed!

Looked like the fence impeded their progress but they weren't phased by it as they seem a down to earth bunch and conducted themselves well.

That's pretty much how I imagine Fat bikers looks and dress. I'm impressed they were going fast enough to crash.
I'd be a tad miffed if that was my fence.

Bell ends
