... I'd be taking a punt on one of these. Frame/shock/motor etc and do my own build

Made in NZ, DJI motor

Seems the photo uploaded is screwed again.

It's a Velduro

It worked in the first post 😀

Megamo Reason would be my choice of DJI bike.

There was a guy on a prototype Zerode in the Whakarewarewa Forest. Finish was first class had a lift of it and it was light compared to the build.

Not sure when and if they will become available in the UK but it will be tempting.

I’m not entirely sure I agree with the seat post but this build Brink put together recently had me thinking about a lottery ticket.

the only e bike i would actually like would be a brompton e bike but those things are hugely expensive.

Nice bike for the money , but therefore you can see the compromises in spec.

Are they setting up in the UK or just shipping to the UK?

Surly the answer though is the STW ebike of the year , which has to be far better 😂

Made in NZ

Frames are made in China. Frame factory has access to DJI, NZ guys arrange the suspension system and specs and the guys in China make it, NZ side markets it.

Team Cycles in Gateshead have the bikes for pre order on their website but they don't appear to have frame only option

Crap name, seems to be a worse geometry version of the Sight/Range.but it does have the current fashionable motor (do you even ebike if you aren’t an Avinox Bro these days).

Some fairly mixed messages coming from the brand/importer on specs & what the ‘actual’ geometry of these things are, which is encouraging. 😆

As a seasoned e-biker (who has spent quite a bit of time riding some of the new Avinox powered bikes, including the Mith & Druid Core), I’m amazed people are so willing to stump up large amounts of cash on tiny little brands with little support in country. Especially when You actually look at the quality of the construction of something like the Unno 🤦‍♂️

What’s the warranty support like?

that would be my no1 buying criteria on another e-bike.

2 years, but given DJI is a relatively new player to the ebike world, how they deliver that warranty is little known and what happens outside of that is very much unknown.

Bosch & Specialized seem to be quite engaged past the 2 year period to prevent framesets being consigned to landfill.

While that eeb looks nice - its a no from me.

When i buy my next ebike i will only buy an ebike with a battery that can easily/quickly be removed from now on.

(i`ve got an ebike with an integrated battery and its a pain of you want a midday charge/battery swap or need to take it into a hotel to charge)

I must admit it, having a bit of a casual look for the OH and reliability/repairability are what I'm interested in rather than outright performance.

Speaking to one of the repair centres, it does seem that Bosch are one of the more repairable systems. No comment on DJI as they're too new.

So, Gen 5 CX based bike for me I think.

I still don't feel the need for the extra power/speed of the DJI. My Moterra SL is still the right ebike for me, with not-quite-as-powerful Shimano motor, and lightweight (for an eeb). To come up with something "perfect" - it would be similar power to the EP801, quieter, removable battery, so easier to work on cables etc., range of the Bosch, but light. Available as frame only is a good option though, I changed so much on the Moterra, to be able to build to own spec would be great.

This place on the edge of Wharny is apparently going to be a dealer. It would be a perfect place to try a demo bike.

I thought that looked alright on first glance but the more I look the more it seems "off". Is it AI?

32/27.5 mullet e-bike weighing 21.5kg, that's quite a combination.
