and your thoughts run to XC rather than AM then there's always the Skyde 246, and no chance that your kid will have mistakenly grabbed someone else's bike by mistake from the bikeshed at school.
Fortunately the euro is quite weak, but I think Alivio/Deore is a bit stingy for €2500. Lovely looking bike though, no paint to scratch, and under 8kg...
Theres no gears on that one at all!!
How much! It's a rigid ss.
Oh yeah.. Niche kid market.
Bike even comes with stick on beard..
How is this better than a small DJ bike with rigid forks?
Dont they know that kids only care about 1) how many gears mister? 2) cool suspension! and 3) red.
Stoner Jr's look of disgust at my nichetastic 650b+ Ti rigid, Jones-forked, SS, bearded-frotatron was withering.

Not reeeeally for the kid, is it..
Hmmm. Not sure the pics match the spec....
Spec says....
deore shifters
double crank
deore derailleurs
alivio cassette
and 7.9kg.
So, presumably this SS one should be a fair bit lighter?
Maybe it's hub geared for more niche-ity. Can't see a cable though.
Stoner, young Stoner Jr is correct.
He is commenting on your mainstream niche 650b+ bandwagon jumping.
26" full suss is where the niche boys are now.
for a laugh I put stoner Jr on to Mrs Stoner's small 456 the other day. Worryingly he can only bloody ride it! By end of summer and an extra inch of leg, he'll be good to go. Christ they grow up quick 🙁

Skinny bars, bar ends and clipless pedals, coming 2019!
I've got a 1993 Kona Hahanna Paul. Rigid, but pre-clipless I think. Am I still on trend?

😉
Only cheapskates own On-Ones. 😛
Meh, I just whacked a pair of Manitou Mars Elites on the front of our Islabike 26. That plus the fact it is covered in scratches from proper use means no other kid takes it.
In answer to the thread title...
...then you obviously live in a porsche/range rover-driving neighbourhood.
OTHER KIDS BIKES ARE AVAILABLE!
