Can't find it now but read a detailed blog post about how altering the time stamps pretty much always leaves a signature in the data.

Interesting the comments on some of Lances actual(?) Strava runs / rides.
Clearly despite the confessions and proof, there are still people who think he's ace. Yet if someone points the fact that he's a cheat, a liar and a bully, they get rounded upon. Attack the system, not the man? WTF!
Some people need to open their eyes.
