er.. when it's charging the light on the charger should be... red, yes?

and presumably when it's finished it goes.. green?

..and how long does a first charge take roughly?

You're right about the colours. Don't know how long the first charges, I just left it on overnight, but they come pretty fully charged if you want to get out asap...

Mine appears to have stopped charging after only a handful of uses ๐Ÿ™
Don't know if its battery or charger, charger shows green but there is no jiuce left in the battery.

cheers, leggyblonde - I've heard a few tales of that happening. I think perhaps they come with unprotected cells that can become overcharged..?

If you know someone with a soldering iron it'd be easy enough to buy 4 full protected 18650 cells, solder them together and attach bike light wires..
