TJ, i hate to say it, but those would be just as pants as my schwalbe ice spikers (same type of tyre) in our present conditions..
If the course is Sheet ice up the firetracks, the schwalbe ice spiker type things are best, if it is deep snow like it is right now, trailrakers, or medusas or any proper mud tyre.
Cullen - I have a choice of tyres for the conditions.
Fair enough, best to be prepared for any conditions... looking like it will be cold the week before the puffer with not much rain/snow, so summer tyres may get taken out...
EDIT: i dont know why im even fretting, i live 5 minutes away from the event.... its not like i cant just nip back for spares...
