about 2-3 inches deep slush/snow overlying ice in the bottom of the puddles with muddy slimy bits inbetwwen the trees. it's a laugh but prepared to get very wet and cold. If it freezes tonight it's going to be evil 😀

Cold and very, very wet and muddy, and in one part the mud is as gloopy as custard. Great fun though!
