[#4654573]

In October me and a mate went for a week long trip to the west coast of Scotland, we road for a week on some epic singletrack. We took a couple of GoPros and took a fair bit of footage and I have finally got round to editing the footage down to something watchable.

This is day 1 of 6 and I imagine it will take another few weeks to get day 2 done but anyway heres what ive done, first time i've edited any footage together and i just used imovie.

It does look like a good trail. Like the little intro journey at the start too.

It's always nice to know I'm not the only mincer out there too ;o)

I like videos like this much more than the big huck super pro ones. These make me want to ride.

Very good, proper mtb trails as well rather than another trail center bash, i've rode those exact trails :D.

I see you're a Crystal Fighters fan?, a mate down south Elite Force/Simon Shackleton has done production work and remixed a couple of their tracks for them. Laure and Mimi are stunningly beautiful and those accents............ ๐Ÿ˜ฏ and mimi goes absolutely nuts on stage when performing, i missed them last year but i'll be making a point of seeing them at some point next year, we're trying to book them for our local festival up here Wickerman Festival, hope we do - they are a perfect balls-out festival band.

Look forward to part 2.

In the post above he mentioned he used iMovie (mac), i've used it for my wee vids and it's pretty decent and very simple to use.

Ti'z very good, and more importantly easy and quick to learn and use, there's bound to be something similar for PCs?,

Like iMovie for windows

Adobe Premier Elements is reported to very similar

how dare i be referred to as a mincer!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Somafunk - i do like some of their tracks but not too many, im a bit on the fence! good luck with getting them to your festival. I am from the north but i live 'down south' just now, im in london, right next to where his sold out gig was.

Buzz - yeah its the ciaran path, we had a load of footage from going up and views and also the top half but it was the frist time we had used the GoPros and we managed to get them all fogged up! grr.

If anyone wants any of the routes then give me a shout, i can help out

it was soaking!

Evening anus,

I would love to know where that trail is! I live in Scotland and regularly ride Glentress and Laggan and me & the mates have spoke about doing other trails on 2013.

Email in profile.

Cheers,

Alan.

Head for Blackwater Dam and follow the trail along the north bank of the river all the way to Kinlochleven.
