Broke my chain half way though a ride today - patched with a quick link but had to ride granny and rear cog 2 - SS style - Blimey you guys are nutters - Nearly broke the handlebars trying to grind up the climbs and peddlin' like a man man to keep up with my mate 😯
Do SS's enjoy the pain?

your mistake was in riding a granny with a small rear 😯 (this should only be seen on specialist web sites not in public!)
2:1 ratio dear boy, then you know the joys of big manly thighs hewn from granite*
*and walking now and then 😉
