I'm still trying to do those manuals Clive, up to at least 3 inches off the deck now 😉

but paying someone to tell you to look ahead and lay off the brakes is a bit of a joke.

If that's all you get from a skills course, then yes, it's a waste of money...

But to help you put those principles into practice, out on the trails, for several hours until you get it right (add in quite a few other basic principles too) as I know at least one person does (do I need mention his name? 😉 ), swings the balance somewhat firmly the other way...
