anyone tried to fit the above?
Ive fitted the 15mm converter on the front, the I insert the bolt through and tighten, its compresses the bearings and the wheel movement is restricted.

Any ideas?

Haven't tried em but I know the BBB fairly well.

Seems odd, there's nothing special about the standard wheels on the BBB.

Did you order the different centre-lock adaptor to go with the 15mm conversion?

Are you sure it's bearings and not disc?

Is there a central spacer fitted between the bearings on your new front hub, if that were missing then these symptoms would match

Exact same issue here... Just taken delivery of a set of fancy wheels and fitting them now.
It seems to be the centerlock lockring is too fat and fouls the inside of the fork. Bummer.
I'm going to call them in the morning to see what HUNT can do..

HUNT sent me a new locking that is much thinner, not sure how long this goodwill gesture will last for other users though.
They asked for the frame model so they can add it to the list of incompatible forks. Its an increasing list I assume.

This is their reply:

"Unfortunately you are not alone in this… Just to explain what has happened here just so you know, the clearance issues are only in very rare circumstances that your bike unfortunately meets! Basically, we build out hubs to industry standard spacing (of course!), and the part for the rotor is standard spacing too. However the issue only arises when you run a 6 bolt rotor with a 15mm axle as a different lock ring is used. Some (quite a few actually) bike manufacturers did not take this particular combination of parts into consideration when designing their forks, and so result in the issues.

Shimano then brought out the slim line lock ring that will fix the problem."

Good service from HUNT for sending new rockrings out, no questions asked.
Maybe in the future they will update their site to include a lost of forks that require the thinner lockring.

Is there a good reason to not just use a thinner lock ring for everyone?

I had the same issue with my Kinesis Racelight 4S disc and Bontrager Affinity wheels, as described here

Interested to know more about the thinner lockrings that "Shimano brought out" as i couldn't get these separately, and had to be inventive.

I did email Shimano about the 3 different sizes of lockring, suggesting that they just use the thin one, but got no reply

I cant think of one.

The only real difference is the amount of tool tolockring contact. There is a definite effort needing to be made to ensure the BB tool does not twist off the skinnier lockring. Smashing your knuckles into the spokes. 😳 Possibly.

The skinnier lockring works pukkarooney on my Bish Bash Bosh with the Hunt wheels. So I'm happy again. 😀
