New bike (Whyte T-129S) with this shock. I have only ever had Fox shocks before, so I don't know if the wooshing sound this shock makes on compression is normal? It sounds as if there is an air leak, which there probably isn't. Does anybody know if this is normal, or should I take it back to the shop?

Update: The shock has now died and been replaced under warranty (and upgraded in the process - always nice). There was an air leak 🙂

Hmmm... just realised that I started muttering to myself on these fora. Age and riding on one's own do that to a person.
