Seriously Del, hope you see this, can't thank you enough for helping me out with use of one of your lights. I even managed a pretty respectable time (well, only 27 minutes slower than Nick Craig!) at night with the light, when seemingly everyone else was really struggling (usually it's me being overtaken, but last night I was overtaking 9/10 people I came across!)

why did you not use the troutlight?
Minor issue ton (troutie knows about it and has told me to post it back to him to have a look at), but it wouldn't fire up come Saturday evening! I'd only used it 2 days before (and charged it since) when it was bloody awesome...
No biggie, just timing all wrong of course. Del helped me out by lending me one of his [url= http://four4th.co.uk/products/lights/holy-moses/ ]"Holy Moses"[/url] lights so I could get my night lap in ok. So I'm eternally grateful as he didn't have to do what he did, especially as he didn't know me from Adam, he literally just said "here, use one of my lights" I didn't even ask!

I know mate, thanks, I didn't need to charge it before I used it the first time.
I charged it after I'd used it the other night though, but then for some reason, it won't play ball. Del used a DVM to check the battery, all was good, it's holding 16.2V on a full charge meaning the battery is in tip top condition. Something has probably come loose, these things happen. Will let you know either way.
