I'm not sure I've tagged Gregareth (highest point in Lancashire) correctly, and I can't spot the summit of Whernside...

NB the pan is 16MB!

Some lovely photography there, almost tempted to print one or two of them off and frame them, with your permission of course.

Cheers, you're welcome - they're in the public domain now, but if you want to print it's better to email me for the original as the posted shots are heavily compressed ๐Ÿ™‚

no one offered me a lift to Horton - we were supposed to be doing a tour of PyG, so I picked the nearest Lakeland viewpoint on Whitbarrow for a walk. Conditions there were perfect for riding, nice grippy snow!

Cool images Simon! How many panes to make the big panorama mosaic?

Nice Pics there Simon as ever.

RD - Are there any trails worth riding near Brum. I work there a couple of days a week but if I'm riding always head home to the Malverns/FOD. Anything worth trying nearer to the office?

You'd have done a fair amount of walking on that route Simon......

I saw Harvey & a mate on Long Lane near Clapham on Sunday & they'd had trouble with unrideable snow & ice on the open fell.

Alex, Clent and the lickey hills (beacon side photo) likey is quite small so only an hour or so riding, clent is a bit larger but is more Halesowen side, which bit of Brum do you work in, city centre or suburbs? either won't really compare to malvern terrain though really

happen so, but it would have been lovely ๐Ÿ™‚ We'd probably have taken the road from Foxup to Churn Milk Hole instead of Dawson's Close

but it would have been lovely

And lovely it was too, which is why I managed 1xride and 6xhill walks last week ๐Ÿ™‚

Looking good for the coming weekend.
