[Closed] HT2 external bottom brackets

this a new one on me, have been using them for ages, and had some gxp running on my commuter/road thingy for about 4 years now never been touched doing about 3-4 thousand miles a year I guess. Anyway I notice there an bit notchy recently, with the recent flooding and some very wet riding I'm thinking they've started to rust up. I take them off and blimey the bearings seem mighty stiff, so out with the extractor tool and we'll have those bad boys out. Wind up the extractor bolt and it won't budge, they are stuckin well and good. So into the vice with the tool and with a bit of effort out they pop, I'm thinking this is strange they normally pop out really easy. Now more confusion out of the cups the bearings are silky smooth and nice as pie. Seems the cups have warped/ovalized over time, anyone else had this ?
