Having used square tapers for the last ten years, I 'upgraded' to HT2 on when I bought my Soul. I was replacing the cassette and chain last night when I noticed that the BB bearings where pretty stiff. Is this a sign of them needing replacement or is it more of a strip, clean and then reassemble making sure that the cap thing isn't too tight. Want to get this sorted for w/e so thoughts/experience would be much appreciated.

if there no laternal movement (ie you can't rattle the crank arms) then trying cleaning the bearings out.
