I have a Howitzer BB (an XR I think) which is marked as 68/68e/73/73e, now it measures 73mm between the cups, but judging by the SRAM site, there should be spacers or something. I got this second hand and was told it would fit, but it just seems to be 5mm too wide, am I missing something really stupid and small or am I just wrong and it won't fit a 68mm shell ????
I can't see any spacers at all, could they just be missing ???? If so, anyone got any that they can give me ? Although....spacers would surely widen the shell.....

yes it should have some spacers with it in order to fit a 68mm bb shell. Mine has 2 on drive side and 1 on non drive.
Any idea where I can get the spacers from ??????
they are the same as all the other ones ie 2.5mm thick, (though the ones on mine are metal not plastic) so any brand will do. Try putting a wanted ad on classifieds I'd have thought.
