Just wondering if it would be possible to paint my full face helmet myself and if it would look any good. I believe the shell is fiberglass if that makes a difference.

Depends if you're any good at art or not as to whether it would look good or not.

I'd pay an artist to do it, well worth the money for ultimate wow factor.

That doesn't really matter. It's the fumes/thinners that degrade the polystyrene inside that cause problems.

Personally, I wouldn't do it.

there are some substances you just don't want to put anywhere near your helmet.

I was just thinking matt black so no fancy artwork for me. Infact the artwork is already very fancy and that's why I am thinking of a change.
