I've used lots of largish volume tyres, 2.25 high rollers and 2.35 pannys but bloody Nora the 2.2 rubber queens are big. So how much clearance is enough?

I think Continental are pretty much spot on with the width measurements for Rubber Queens - they are very tall though.

I measured my 2.4s, and controversially they measured 2.4 inches across.
