[Closed] How to store my bike in a hallway - hang it up?

Whoo-hoo! My Cube Team Ltd arrived today 😀

Now I need to store it in my flat. I live on the first floor with a separate entrance. There's not enough room behind the front door, but there is very high hallway above the stairs just as I come in the door, though there is a bit of intrusion from one of the upstairs rooms and the utility meters cupboard, like this:

I was hoping I could somehow hang it up on the wall - anyone got any suggestions or advice as to how I could do this?

Thanks in advance!

At the Cycle Show I met a bloke selling bike holders that looked like a plastic tube. Rather tidy looking too.

Thanks for all the ideas folks, seems there's lots to pick from, gotta get one that'll work with my bike (i.e. not squash cables against frames, pull the brake levers, etc)

You could screw a baton to the wall on which you place the wheels and then have a short bit of rope that hooks the top tube - cantilevering the bike against the baton/wall. Very cheap to do.

hang on...

Stoner

Cheers dude, I like the DIY route 💡
Looking at the ready-made things on the market, I'm not convinced that any of them won't cause some sort of damage to the bike, so might well knock my own thing up.

This is what weve done in my mates flat. Ikea pole, bar from B&Q, couple of screws and 2 hooks. About £25-30 all in.
