hi guys,

Need help with a folk on my Cannondale Taurine SI Carbon frame.

Want to swap my Cannondale Headshock to a RS Reba RL Tapered folk, but not sure what to do with a headset?

I've heard that SI Carbon frames have a different measure of headsets, so standard 1.5 headsets/adapters will not work =(

thanks. Will it fit Taurine frame?
the description says:
'This will fit all of the current carbon MTB frames that do not use the black press in headset cups.'

Not sure what 'black press in headset cups' mean...

The SI Headset spec is a fraction of a mm larger than the 1.5" standard. All you need is the bits that touch the fork, not the frame, so the best bet is to email whoever imports Cannondale spares to see if they can sell you those parts for the headset you already have.

Give Qwerty Cycles a call. They are the go to people for Cannondale stuff in the UK and very helpful

I went with some alu reducers to fit a 1 1/8 fork to my Scalpel so I guess you could use just the top one of those? If you don't have any luck with Qwerty I can look up where I bought them from (some US seller on ebay IIRC)
