Can anyone advise on this?
There's no obvious windows or slots for cables (as with my even older LX shifters)
I assume a number of the various small screws need removing to access them but am a bit cautious about disassembling in case they do ping apart in a really annoying fashion.

look underneath, 2 wee (incredibly easily lost) screws hold on a cover, cables go through the opening when it's removed.

I have a stunning ability to lose little bolts, screws and washers so no doubt will struggle with this task 🙂
